## How it works

1. **Publish your site**: Press Publish in the Studio. The site goes live on its free address, made from the name of the site.
2. **Open Settings**: In Settings, find the Domain card. Website address shows the free address, with buttons to copy it, visit it or edit it.
3. **Pick a new name**: Click Edit, type the name you want and save. The site moves to the new address, and the old one stops opening.

## Frequently asked questions

### Is the free website address really free?

Yes. The address costs nothing on the Starto plan and stays live as long as the site is published. You only pay if you choose Premium to connect a domain of your own.

### What happens to the old address when I rename it?

Once you save a new name, the site opens only at the new address and the old one stops working, so update any links you shared. The email address of the site stays the same.

### Can I keep the free address after connecting my own domain?

Yes. With Premium and a connected domain, a switch in Settings decides whether the free address sends visitors to your domain. It is on by default, so everyone ends up on your main address.
