Share a link to your site, even before you publish

## How it works

1. **Open Share**: In Studio, click Share. The menu holds the public link, the cloning switch and the option to show the site in Explore.
2. **Turn on the public link**: Switch on Public link and copy the address. Anyone with the link can open the site, and switching it off closes the link again.
3. **Allow cloning if you want**: Switch on Allow cloning to let others start from your site. Each copy becomes a new site in their own account and counts toward their sites.

### How do I share my website before it is published?

Open Share in Studio and switch on Public link, then send the address. The person sees the site as it is now, without an account, and you can switch the link off at any time.

### What does someone get when they clone my site?

A new site in their own account with a copy of your pages, files, database items, email templates and functions. Your variables, scheduled tasks, domains and chat history are never copied.

### Can I stop people from cloning my website?

Yes. Cloning is off by default, and you can switch Allow cloning off whenever you want. Copies made earlier stay with their owners, but no new clone can be started.
