## Key facts

- Nothing moves without a yes: The transfer happens only when the other person accepts. Until then you can cancel the invitation, and it expires on its own after a set number of days.
- The whole project goes: The new owner gets the files, the variables and the full chat history. Public sharing and the Explore listing are switched off during the move.
- Billing ends cleanly: If the site has Premium, the plan is canceled when the invitation is accepted and you stop being billed. Connected domains stay in your account.

## How it works

1. **Start the transfer**: In Studio, open Settings and, in the danger zone, click Transfer the project. Type the email address of the new owner.
2. **Send the invitation**: Click Send the invitation. The person gets an email, and the site shows Transfer pending until they answer.
3. **They accept it**: The new owner signs in with that same email and clicks Accept on their dashboard. The site leaves your account and appears in theirs.

### How do I transfer a website to a client?

### What happens to Premium when I transfer a site?
