## How it works

1. **Open Email**: In the Studio side menu, open Email. The site address sits at the top, with a button to copy it.
2. **Adjust the settings**: Under Settings, set the sender name, the reply-to address and the logo, and choose whether the site may send email at all.
3. **Change the address**: Edit it with 3 to 40 lowercase letters, digits, dots or hyphens. Under Previous addresses, Use again switches back to an earlier one.

## Frequently asked questions

### Does every website get a free email address?

Yes. Every site, on Starto or Premium, gets its own address on the platform email domain as soon as it exists. Starto has a daily sending limit and a monthly receiving limit, and Premium removes both.

### What happens to my old address if I change it?

It becomes a previous address that still delivers mail to this site, so nothing sent to it is lost, and it is never given to another site. The number of changes per site is limited, so choose a name you will keep.

### Does the email address change when I rename the site?

No. Renaming the site or changing its free web address leaves the email address as it is. It changes only when you edit it yourself in the email settings.
