Publish the site and send a test entry from the page. Forms save only on the published site, on the free address or on your own domain.

Read the submissions
Open Database, pick the collection and see every entry in the Items tab. When you need a copy, export the collection to CSV from Statistics.
Frequently asked questions
How do I make a contact form save submissions?
Ask the AI for the form and it connects it to a function that saves each submission in a collection of your site database. You read the entries in the Database tab, so nothing depends on an email arriving.
Do I need a separate form service or plugin?
No. The form, the function that handles it and the database that stores it are all part of your site. The email notice also goes out from the site's own address, so there is nothing extra to sign up for.
Can the form email me when someone fills it in?
Yes. The function behind the form can email you each new submission and send the visitor a confirmation at the address they typed. On the Starto plan sending has a daily limit, and Premium removes it.
