A complete copy

Pages, files, database items, functions, email templates and variables are all copied, so the new site works the same way from the first minute.

Tasks start paused

Scheduled tasks are copied too, but paused, so nothing runs twice by accident. Turn them on in the copy when you are ready.

Its own address

The copy gets its own free address and starts unpublished on the Starto plan, so the domain and the Premium of the original stay untouched.

How it works

    Find the site

    Go to the Sites list on your dashboard, or open the site in Studio, and open the menu of the site you want to copy.

    Choose Duplicate

    Click Duplicate. The copy appears in your list with (copy) in its name, with its files, data and functions in place.

    Make it yours

    Rename the copy in Settings, change it with the AI or the editor, and publish it when it is ready.

Frequently asked questions

How do I duplicate a website?

Open the menu of the site in the Sites list or in Studio and choose Duplicate. A complete copy is created in your account, with a new free address and (copy) added to its name.

Does duplicating copy the database and functions?

Yes. The copy gets the database collections and items, the functions, the email templates and the variables. Scheduled tasks come across paused, and the chat history is not copied.

Is a duplicated site on the same plan as the original?

No. A copy starts on the free Starto plan and is not published yet. If it needs a domain or the Premium extras, you buy Premium for the copy on its own.
