The transfer happens only when the other person accepts. Until then you can cancel the invitation, and it expires on its own after a set number of days.

Built a site for a client? Send them an invitation by email. Nothing changes until they accept it, and then the site moves to their account with its files, variables and chat history.

The whole project goes
The new owner gets the files, the variables and the full chat history. Public sharing and the Explore listing are switched off during the move.
Billing ends cleanly
If the site has Premium, the plan is canceled when the invitation is accepted and you stop being billed. Connected domains stay in your account.
How it works

Step 1
Start the transfer
In Studio, open Settings and, in the danger zone, click Transfer the project. Type the email address of the new owner.

Send the invitation
Click Send the invitation. The person gets an email, and the site shows Transfer pending until they answer.

They accept it
The new owner signs in with that same email and clicks Accept on their dashboard. The site leaves your account and appears in theirs.
Frequently asked questions
How do I transfer a website to a client?
Open Settings in Studio, choose Transfer the project and enter the email of your client. They receive an invitation, sign in with that email and accept it, and the site moves into their account.
What happens to Premium when I transfer a site?
The Premium plan is canceled automatically when the invitation is accepted, so billing stops for you. The paid time left is not refunded, and the new owner can buy Premium for the site again.
Can I transfer a site that has a domain bought through Uebfaqe?
Detach the registered domain from the project first, then send the invitation. Other connected domains are detached on their own, because they work only with Premium.
