    Open a site from Sites. The preview fills the main area of the editor, right next to Messages or Edit.

    Move and switch views

    Use the page list and the Back and Forward buttons, and choose Desktop, Tablet or Phone to change the size of the view.

    Capture and publish

    Take a Screenshot to download it, copy it or use it in the chat, then press Publish once the preview looks right.

Frequently asked questions

Is the preview the same as my published website?

It is built from the same files, so what you see is what visitors get once you press Publish. Until then your changes stay in the editor and visitors of the live site do not see them.

Can I check how my website looks on a phone?

Yes. Choose Phone in the view switcher to see the mobile layout, and Tablet for the size in between. It is worth checking menus, buttons and long headings on the small screen before you publish.

Do forms and buttons work in the preview?

Links and buttons that move between pages work inside the preview. Features that depend on the live site, such as a form that saves submissions through a function, start working once you publish.
